​The National Council for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) is a statutory body under the Ministry of AYUSH, dedicated to regulating, standardizing, and promoting excellence in the education, practice, and research of Indian traditional medicine. NCISM plays a pivotal role in upholding high academic and ethical standards across institutions offering courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and other traditional healing systems.
