Internship Program
Overview
The internship is a mandatory 12-month training program following the Third Professional B.U.M.S.
It provides hands-on experience in clinical practice, patient management, and Unani treatments.
Students must complete rotations in different Unani medical departments.

Ilaj bit Tadabeer (Regimenal Therapy) | 1 Month |
Amraze Atfal wa Naumaulood (Paediatrics & Neonatology) | 1 Month |

3. Key Learning Objectives
Develop clinical skills in diagnosis and treatment using Unani medicine.
Gain hands-on experience in OPD, IPD, and emergency care.
Learn surgical techniques and procedures under supervision.
Understand the use of Ilaj bit Tadabeer (Regimenal Therapy).
Exposure to research and medical statistics for evidence-based practice.
4. Internship Assessment & Certification
Interns must maintain a logbook of daily activities and patient interactions.
Regular evaluations and case presentations are conducted.
A final assessment determines the successful completion of the internship.
Upon completion, graduates receive registration as Unani practitioners.
4. Career Progression
After completing the internship, students can:
Start their clinical practice as registered Unani doctors.
Pursue postgraduate studies (M.D. in Unani Medicine).
Join government and private hospitals.
Work in academics and research.
Establish their own Unani pharmacy and wellness centers
