Mega Blood Donation Camp Organized by HMS Unani Medical College & Hospital in Collaboration with Lions Club International
HMS Unani Medical College & Hospital, in association with Lions Club International’s Lions Blood Centre, Bangalore, successfully organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp on November 23, 2024, at the college premises in Tumkur.
The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Professor Zakir Hussain V, Principal of HMSUMC, and Hakeem Gulam Mohiuddin, Director of HMSUMC. The chief organizers, Dr. Gulam Ahmed Mohiuddin Salman and Dr. Gulam Hyder Mohiuddin Noman, took the responsibility of planning and executing the camp with a well-structured strategy, ensuring smooth management of the event.
As a result of this collective effort, 42 donors came forward to donate blood, contributing to a noble cause that will help save countless lives. The initiative was a mega success, and the organizers have decided to continue this humanitarian effort by hosting similar camps annually.
